Meet Fleur — The banking revolution has just started.
Fleur is a super friendly and beautiful banking app ready to help you move, invest and save funds everyday. Most of the traditional banks have been able to, over the years, give new and existing users the opportunity to move their funds, make payments and invest through their online apps. The problem with these apps is that they rely on very old code and infrastructure, and most of their worries are about functionality. A lot of the banking apps are hard to use and hard to look at. So, I thought it would be a nice UX exercise to take an app I normally have to use (in my case the Natwest app) and make it better with my visual skills and design thinking. That’s when Fleur came to life.
I realised, most of the time, this apps are very plain and lack a visual identity, making them feel a lot more generic than they should be (for example only having branding in their loading screen but being very greyscale everywhere else).
With Fleur, users can:
- Visualise their balance and spending.
- Move, invest, request, send and save funds.
- Create saving buckets and split bills.
- Open or apply to open business or joint accounts.
- Set up and manage direct debits and standing orders.
- Get help and assistance from both the Help section and video banking feature.
- And more, both on mobile and desktop.
Desktop version — The app overview shows current balance, wallet, spending graph and standing orders.
Mobile app — Dashboard, Pay and Current Account pages.
Mobile app — Spend, Help and Profile pages.
